AntiPolyOleum (APO) project imagines a near future where the the accumulation of nanoplastics in the human epidermis causes inflammation easily seen on the face. A mask is customized to individuals' genetic makeup and local environment. Removing both sebum and petroleum from the skin in real time.
From an interaction design perspective I focus on the skin being an interface and an archive. Insights produced future user experiences and behaviours towards cosmetics and the environment.
